An elderly man from the House of the Owl and local tavern owner, keeper of Lucky Aric’s (which also happens to be his nickname). He loves to tell the story of how he got his name. It seems close to fifty years ago, Aric was a soldier in the Imperial Guard, and was called upon to help put down a major rebellion, now known as the Quicksilver War. At a place called Potter’s Field, the young Aric was hit full in the chest with a crossbow bolt. He survived against all odds, and the punctured breastplate he was wearing now hangs in his tavern. He is a bit of a drunk, but good-natured.
