It has approximately 19,000 inhabitants, around 15,000 of whom are native Nuluans and speakers of Thu Parsh, with the remainder being Ombans, including the Duke and his lineage and the court apparatus. Located at the far north of the duchy where the rocky coast of the sea meets the Brekleb (Baraklef) River, it has close cultural ties to the coastal [[Luetka|Luetkan]] towns to the west, and is a major defensive fort along the river against incursions from the north. The city is a jewel of Nuluan architecture with great pyramidal temples.
