 The group heads towards the tower, where they encounter a number of undead the control of Hilja's and one of her minions.  Lumiel flies up to try and get a view  of what she is doing, but Hilja is able to kill/banish him in a single hit. The caravan members kill some of the enslaved spirits and their controller, but are able to free two of them. They then proceed up the tower to try and stop her, but are unsuccessful.  She is surprised that they are able to affect her in the fight, and threatens that if they destroy her, it will destroy the land, as they are bound since she was able to complete her rite.  Then Qog kills her with a single blow from his hammer.
-On the return trip, they start to see places where plans and animals are dying without any obvious other cause, and worry that her threat/prediction was accurate.
