Menard Kizer is the younger grandson of Leonien Kizer. Human, age 19, brown hair, green eyes. Menard is not his brother's intellectual equal - he has a tendency to be a bit of a dreamer, indecisive and easily manipulated. Nevertheless, he is quite well-mannered and charming, and so is popular, especially among those who would like to do the manipulating. He and Marel also had a sister, Eglantine, who died at a young age.
