Loik Talav'era is a shadar-kai nobleman. He appears about 30, with black hair. Loik is a notable playboy in SK high society, well-known for his affairs, mainly with men. He is a very wealthy man, and seems perfectly willing to drop vast amounts of money on entertainment and ostentation. For example, as a small part of the celebrations for his birthday a few years ago, he had ten children sacrificed to the Arch, including Ysstvelt's sister.
