The Triumvirs were the former rulers of the area now occupied by the country of Khutu, prior to the formation of the Omban Empire. The Triumvirate was ruled by three co-equal rulers out of the town of Amobaghe, north and west of Onighus along the coast of the Gusu Sea. The triumvirs were elected from a small set of noble lineages of the region. The triumvirate certainly began at least 300 years before the Imperial era (BE), and ended in 62 BE when the Khutuan triumvirs pledged their fealty to the Omban monarchy.
