Imas (707-), known as The Trowel, is a middle-aged Voice who was born into the exceptional craft lineage of architects in Ai Dandura but has been living at Nemnosti for almost fifty years now. Physically thin and spindly, he is recognized as an intellectual giant among the Voices of the ulajeta, specializing in temple architecture, and responsible for many of the recent innovations here and at several other Khutuan temples. For reasons unknown to most, Imas basically never uses his birth name; Imas is his Lady's Name and while there surely must be some, including Nemnu, who know why, he does not talk about the matter. He has not been back to Ai Dandura for many, many years.
