A village located on an elevated strip of land on the south bank of the Pasu River, huddled against the single road between Naftusa and Nemnosti. Most of the 300 or so villagers have some role in the local economy of Nemnosti or the nearby quarries of the Pardopasu. Hertu is in a symbiotic relationship with the larger upland village of Akapa Sogo located a short walk away.
